Starting in the construction industry over 37 years ago framing homes then becoming a jobsite lead supervisor. Moving into the remodeling sector as a subcontractor learning and recognizing pitfalls and short comings of the companies/clients, realizing a need to start a remodeling company with a client-based focus. Southern Home Enhancements was formed based on wanting to deliver our experience and knowledge to homeowners to give them the peace of mind of caring, experienced, and knowledgeable attention.

Founded by Richard Heavner in 2011. Communication has always been a troubling factor for the remodeling industry. Southern Home Enhancements is committed to bridge this gap by keeping the client informed by email, text, phone as needed with product scheduling and labor and material timelines. We are not like others, we do not “over promise or under deliver”. We keep clients updated, good news or bad news, you will know what we know, regardless of the situation. Southern Home Enhancements’ goal is to create clients, form relationships for future referrals and a customer base.
